May has been a busy month for everyone involved with Solaris, starting with expansion of the Solaris team, creating a central knowledge base with new guides, as well as integrations that expand the usability and use cases for XLR. In this update we hope to summarize the previous month and touch base on the exciting times ahead.

Welcome to the central knowledge base for Solaris. It is already full of guides on how to set-up a masternode and enable staking, but we will be expanding it further with important information and more guides in the future. Solaris has one of the best community support systems in the cryptocurrency space. Our new website will fully integrate the features of the helpsite, creating a great user experience for all new & tenured XLR users.
New Block Explorer
We have released an updated block explorer with many new features and functionalities. To correspond with the PoS consensus switch, we have implemented statistics that are relevant for anyone that needs to examine the state of the network. In the updated block explorer, you will find:

- Proof-of-Stake 24 hour difficulty chart
- Masternode list (searchable)
- Masternode Geo-Location map
- Masternode ROI estimator/calculator

MyCryptoCheckout
Anyone is now free to use XLR as a payment method in their WooCommerce / EasyDigitalDownloads webshops, and any custom webshops that use the MyCryptoCheckout. This is just one of the many crypto payment integrations Solaris will be pursuing to further the usability of XLR.

We have also updated our roadmap to greater reflect recent work and adjusting the future goals. Please note, the roadmap is not an exhaustive list of goals and plans as a lot of opportunities arise without planning. It is our goal to use these opportunities to push Solaris further to grow the ecosystem and adoption.
What’s Next…
We are in the process of updating our website to better reflect Solaris XLR’s mission statements and goals. Our goal is to make it easier to on-board new users and welcome them into the Solaris community. Once the website is updated, Solaris will increase marketing efforts with guidance from the Advisory and Marketing team. Additionally, we will be providing another update from the txbit.io team in the near future. Look for more development updates then!
